Business license renewal

Every business operating in the city, including home businesses, needs a license. Licenses renew each January 1 and the fee is based on number of employees, from $45 for a sole proprietor. Renewal notices go out in November; renewals after January 31 carry a 10 percent late fee.

Bids and contract opportunities

The city posts every formal bid over $50,000 here and on the state purchasing portal. Addenda are posted here the day they are issued, and questions go to the City Clerk in writing.
